8 Great Outings For Your Family

1. Spend time at the beach.

This is always on our list, every year. It’s just the best.

2. Go ice-skating, sledding and/or skiing.

We have so much fun in the snow with the kids.

3. Volunteer for a project at school.

It always feels like too much, and it’s always satisfying nonetheless.

4. Get to know a new person/make a new friend.

This is a hope for both parents and kids

5. Visit or get back in touch with a few old friends.

Also something our whole family is looking forward to.

6. Keep a family journal.

This is an experiment I want to try with the kids while they are still little: we’ll each write (or dictate) a sentence or draw a picture about the day.

7. Help the kids run a lemonade stand.

They’ve been wanting to do this for years-it’s time.

8. Go away for a grown ups-only weekend.

Otherwise known as a mental health break.

These unique sites support parents to make informed choices and provide up to date, relevant information on key topics. Information published on our sites is drawn from an international pool of writers with expertise and experience in pregnancy and parenting.

While we are constructing this blog we are having a number of supporters helping us launch this site. These companies are CMM Automotive who are a reputable mobile mechanic across Perth area, along with Wescott Roof Racks who focus on supplying racks to the tradesman. gingerHOUSE who provide modern homewares to the new home, where Nexus Projects allow the old home to become modern with their home extensions.  MCS Security Alarms is a firm that focus on making sure the home is safe and secure, where Habitat 1 Melbourne work on doing the fitout for the commercial and home environment. The London Club & The Oxford provide the perfect place for a  family gathering with their function rooms. S&L Engineering who provide screw compressors for the larger warehouse.

We’ll begin the blog with a few simple tips to increase the positive family atmosphere.
